Litigation Paralegal

We are currently seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and proactive. We are looking for someone who can handle most aspects of a case independently, anticipates what’s needed before being asked, keeps attorneys on task, and isn’t afraid to ask for work when needed. This role involves managing cases from pre-suit through trial, drafting and filing pleadings, handling discovery, communicating with clients and courts, and maintaining well-organized case files.

Responsibilities
  • Manage litigation cases from pre-suit through trial and post-judgment
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare exhibits, deposition summaries, and trial binders
  • Track deadlines and maintain accurate case calendars
  • Coordinate with attorneys and Case Manager to ensure all case milestones are met
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
  • Support billing and time entry processes as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in business, contract, or other civil litigation
  • Familiarity with New Jersey court procedures (knowledge of NY or PA a plus)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
  • Paralegal certification or degree in legal studies
  • Background in estate litigation or civil trial work
