Joe Ragsdale is an associate attorney at Lambariello, Smith & Speed, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, including complex business disputes, contested estate matters, construction litigation, and real estate litigation. He represents clients through all stages of a dispute, from pre-litigation counseling and strategy through dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial.

Joe's litigation experience includes representing clients in disputes involving businesses, estates, construction projects, and real estate. Before joining LSS, he practiced at a mid-sized law firm, where he handled a broad range of insurance defense matters, including cases involving commercial landowners, contractors and subcontractors, personal injury and wrongful death, construction defects, and professional negligence.
Clients can expect Joe to take their concerns seriously, communicate directly, and remain accountable for the work entrusted to him. He brings a disciplined and thorough approach to each matter while recognizing that a legal dispute is rarely just a legal problem—it is something that affects a person's family, business, finances, or peace of mind.
Joe earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2020, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Rutgers Law Record. He earned his B.A. in Sociology with a focus in Criminal Justice from Centenary College in 2016. He is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts in New Jersey, is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and is a member of the Utilities and Contractors Association.
