We are seeking a thoughtful and organized Intake Specialist to be the welcoming face and first point of contact for those seeking our guidance. This role is central to delivering the quality, clarity, and compassion that define the LSS experience.
What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the first touchpoint for prospective clients via phone, email, online forms, and In-Office inquiries
  • Conduct initial screenings and conflict checks to assess whether a matter aligns with the firm’s practice areas
  • Gather and document relevant client information (personal, financial, legal, timeline) in a structured, secure manner
  • Schedule consultations between clients and attorneys, ensuring smooth coordination and confirmation
  • Maintain consistent, clear communication with prospective clients by answering questions, setting expectations, and managing follow-ups
  • Transition screened, qualified cases into the firm’s case management workflow
  • Assist in preparing intake packets, engagement letters, retainer agreements, and client glide paths.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and upkeep of our client relationship management (CRM) or practice management system
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative teams to ensure the intake-to-engagement process is seamless
Who You Are
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in legal intake, client services, or a law firm support role (or similar client-facing role)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain processes clearly and empathetically
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple inquiries at once
  • Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential client data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with CRM or legal practice management software is a plus
  • A warm, client-centered demeanor and professionalism under pressure
